COVID-19 Office Protocols

​Patient safety has always been fundamental to the care we provide here at Acupuncture & Wellness Center.

In order to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and team members, we are strictly adhering to the guidelines set out by the State and County Government, as well as our Professional Organizations.

Let’s all be as safe as possible. Please review the protocols below and come prepared for your appointment.

COVID-19 Protocols:


BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • All patients will receive a call from us at least 24 hours before their appointment for COVID-19 “screening”.
  • To ensure the best care for all we serve, please review the COVID-19 Informed Consent prior to your visit with us. You will be asked to sign this upon entry to AWC. This form is available​ here.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • We ask that ALL patients please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time.
  • Call the office from the parking lot when you arrive for your appointment. Our front office staff will let you know when to enter.
  • With the exception of a parent/guardian to a minor or the assistance of a medically necessary aide, patients may not bring any guests with them to their appointment.
  • Scheduled curbside pick-up for herbal treatments, essential oils, and CBD products is available.

UPON ENTRY

  • As of July 1, 2021, face coverings are optional​
  • Patients will be asked to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands.
  • Consent forms must be signed.
  • Patients will then be sent directly to a treatment room.

TREATMENT ROOM

  • In order to keep paper waste to a minimum, we are asking that our patients please wear loose-fitted clothing to their appointment. Professional laundry services are not available to us at this time. Therefore, we will be using paper products in place of our usual linens..
